The Camper Saga

So a few days ago Dom's camper was having issues. Dom figured it was the fuel pump and set to work fixing it. But apparently that wasn't the problem. So two days ago, in the only solid rain we've had since coming to Philadelphia, Dom was under the camper reattaching parts he had taken off, so that the tow truck could pick it up. He came in the house sopping wet...there had been a dip in the pavement right where he needed to work, so he had been laying in a puddle a few inches thick. Nice...

Right now he's out to check the status of the camper...hoping that the mechanics at this place have the know-how to fix a 1978 motor, with all of the little intricacies that go with it (like parts!).

I'll say more when I hear from him!

What? Sick Again?

Yep, I'm sick again...that's twice in two months! I never thought that teaching actually made my immune system stronger, but there it is...being a student brings disease!

Other than being sick, this past month has been quite fun! Tracy came to visit for a weekend - so we went to see the Red Bull Flug Tag, ran up the Rocky steps, checked out some historical sites and saw dead people...well...not real dead people, just their tombs. Both Tracy and I like cemeteries, and Dom found the Laurel Hill Monument Cemetery. It was so extensive! A lot of plots were in buildings that could have been used as houses! Crazy!

I also have had some time to have the cohort over for a BarBQ (apparently Americans say grill). It was very relaxing! The hot tub was a real hit!

So far so good on the workload! It's intense, but I'm still on top of it (for now). We'll have to wait and see what October brings!
