Preweek

We went to Volleyball with a large group of gringos on Thursday night...packed our car full! It was a nice night - we played with some new people from the Embassy as well. The next day the new teachers boxes came in - it was like Christmas! A few of us sorted and brought the boxes to their destinations. That's when we found that our car started to leak green goo/liquid (for Kyle) out of the front passenger seat...antifreeze!

So on Saturday, after Worship Practice we went with Eddie and Sammy (two guys from the worship team) to get our car looked at. They recircuited the hose so now we don't have a working heating system in our car...it didn't cost too much! We then decided that our car needed to be washed...Kyle even waxed it! Thanks to the supplies his summer school job offered him. We also happened to help Kyle move his waterbed (by getting rid of the water in it...no easy task).

A truck drove into a pole Sunday morning causing us to lose electricity for the day...not a good thing since we start school tomorrow and that was the last time we had to get prepared. Sunday evening found us at Church, both Kyle and I were helping out on the worship team...Eddie at the last minute asked me to take over keyboard! Not the type of thing I like doing last minute! But it happened anyways and wasn't that bad - now they want to have me do that a couple times a month!

Heidi comes tomorrow! Kyle, Melodee and I will be going down to get her after the kids go home! It will be great to see her...she doesn't know she will be arriving to a potluck at our apartment! :D
